It has recently come to our attention that a limited number of Sony PDA CLIÉ PEG-NZ 90 units that incorporate an image sensor device, CCD Chip, manufactured from October 2002 through March 2004 may exhibit the following condition:

When the PDA CLIÉ PEG-NZ 90 is used in camera mode, the LCD panel and/or electronic viewfinder will show either a distorted image or no image.

We have determined that this condition only occurs to a limited number of units.

In its effort to ensure customer satisfaction, Sony has elected to offer a free repair to the owners of applicable PDA CLIÉ PEG-NZ 90 units exhibiting the above-mentioned condition if caused by the image sensor device, CCD chip. Accordingly, customers who have a Sony PDA CLIÉ PEG-NZ 90 set and if said Sony PDA CLIÉ PEG-NZ 90 exhibits the above-mentioned condition caused by the image sensor device, CCD chip, may contact the special call center number below for free repair:
